Okay so I wanted to try and do something different on the blog today. I wanted to do a Tag. We've all come across tags on YouTube before and this works the same way. If you do not know what tag is, a tag is ********. So without further a do, here's my #30BeautyTAG.

1. How many times do you wash your face daily?

I wish I could say I've been a good girl and wash my face twice a day but truth is I often wash it once. I usually wash it in the morning and then get lazy in the evenings. Don't be like Laurit, wash your face twice a day :P

2. What skin type do you have?

I have oily skin *angry face*, a really bad case of oily skin. Mostly around my T-Zone, my chin, around my face, my eyelids.....everywhere!

3. What is your current facial wash?

I have been using the Simple Face Wash for years and still loving it. It's so gentle on the skin and leaves your face feeling super smooth. Plus it's so affordable. I love the entire Simple line.

4. Do you exfoliate?

Yes I do exfoliate my face but not as much as I should do.

5. What moisturizer do you use?

I use the Body Shop Oils Of Life Gel CREAM and it's my holy grail. It is a must have for anyone with oily skin. It's super moisturising without leaving your face feeling greasy.

6. Do you have freckles?

Yes! Lot's of them! All over my entire face. I never used to have them until about 3 or 4 years ago. No it's taking over my entire face.

7. Do you use eye cream?

Yes, I use the Body Shop Eye Gel.

8. Did you or do you have acne prone skin?

No I don't and I never did. I always say I that I was blessed with a really good skin. I hardly ever break out especially with the way I treat my skin and I never had any issues with my skin during my teenage puberty years either.

9. What foundation do you use?

I switch up foundation from time to time. I still haven't found one that I really love. The foundation that I am currently using is the Makeup Forever HD Foundation and I'm in the shade NC45.

10. How about concealer?

It has to be Maybeline Age Rewind.

11. Do you know your undertone colour?

Qui, I have a warm undertone :)

12. What do you think of fake eyelashes?

God sent! I feel it completes any makeup look.

13. Did you know you’re supposed to change your mascara every 3 months?

Yes and your foundation every 6 months too but who's counting >.<

14. What brand of mascara do you use?

At the moment I'm using the L'Oreal Telescopic but my all time favourite is the Benefit They're Real.

15. What make-up tools do you use in your make up application?

For my foundation it has to be either the beauty blender or Real Techniques Buffing Brush. I also use Real Techniques brushes for my Contour, Blush, Powder and Highlight. For my eyes I use a variety of brushes from Zoeva (love!), Sephora and my local beauty supply store (bodycare).

16. Do you use a makeup base/primer for the eyes?

Yes, I use either M.A.C Prlongwear Concealer (I'm in the shade NC45) or the Urban Decay Primer Potion.

17. Do you trying new skincare products or do you keep a certain routine?

I like trying new skincare products. I do believe that if you find something that really works for you, you should stick to it. However, I also believe that your skin does get used to the products that you use, be it skincare or makeup and it's always a good idea to switch things up even if it once or twice every couple of years.

18. What is your favourite eyeshadow colour or shade?

Because I'm a red lover, I love any colour in the red family or any colour with a red undertone.

19. Do you use pencil or liquid eyeliner?

Liquid Liner. I currently use the Rimmel London Liquid Liner and have been using it for years thanks to my bestie (Beth xx).

20. Do you use mineral makeup?
Uuuuhmm not really.

21. What is your favorite lipstick?

Does liquid lipstick count? Currently obsessed with NYX Lip Lingerie in Exotic.

22. What is your favorite blush to use?

Milani Blush in Luminoso

23. Have you ever considered taking makeup classes?

Sure if we count YouTube videos. But in all seriousness yes I have considered it and I think it's something I really need to do.

24. Name a makeup crime that you hate?

Excessive highlighting - I think it's pretty but I feel it's too obsessive. I know it's the current trend and all but I absolutely hate it when people go way overboard.

25. Are you clumsy in putting makeup on?

Nope. Unless I'm in a high speed moving car, I think I'm pretty good.

26. Which celebrity always has great makeup?

Jennifer Lopez......I'd die for a day with her glam team. She always looks so 'natural' (as natural as makeup can be) and radiant. She's always glowing like the angel that she is.

27. Could you ever leave the house without make up on?

Yes, I always do! Even though I love makeup and my blog is mostly makeup related, I do not wear makeup on a daily basis especially to work. I only wear makeup if I HAVE to. Like on a night out.

28. If you could leave the house with just ONE makeup item, what would it be?

Mascara

29. In your opinion what is the BEST makeup line?

It's hard to say because I haven't found one makeup line that gives me everything I need. But if we were to focus on just eyeshadows, I would have to say Zoeva & Too Faced are tie for me.

30. What do you love about make up?

I love how it gives you such creative freedom. With makeup you can do whatever and be whoever you want to be. I believe anyone can put on makeup just like I believe anyone can dance if and only if you put your mind to it. It really isn't as hard as a lot of people think. It's all about understanding the basics, learning a few tricks and then enhancing your skill through constant practice.
