Went to
Cheshire Oaks with the family this weekend for a nice day out and a little bit
of shopping. It wasn't the best of weather with the heavy rain but this outfit
was too gorgeous to miss out an opportunity for an OOTD. I've been trying to switch up my wardrobe these past few months to introduce
more bright colours and cuts with more feminine touches that I don't usually go
for. My style is usually more laid back and I go for comfort over trendy and
feminine looks. But I'm growing up and my taste is growing with me and I feel spring
is the perfect time to 'embark on this journey'.
So let's talk through the outfit.
First is this beautiful
black ruched bandage bardot crop top from Rivers Island. I absolutely love the cut on the bust.
Gives you just the right amount of cleavage and compliments the
declatoge very nicely ;) So tempted to get it in all three colours
(might just do lol). The high waisted pant is a great combo with the crop top as
well. The flattering waist band cinches you in at the waist and flairs at the
bottom with the loose leg fit to give you a very stylist, flattering look.
… and on to the shoes. Let's 'ooh and aah'
about the shoes for a minute because they're my new favourites. It reminds me
so much of the Gucci Brixton Horsebit loafers (which is currently on m y wishlist). Now
those are £540, these are a fraction of the price so definitely a great high-street
steal. I’ve had so mainly compliments over these, especially when it’s paired
with an all-black outfit. Such a bold statement piece; really stands out. Definitely
a wardrobe must have. To finish off the look I have my new Crossbody Wallet from
Zara and the Quay x Desi Sahara shades in Black/Olives.
River Island Bandage bardot crop top £16 // Topshop Horn button crop wide leg trousers £32 // Zara Crossbody wallet with chains £25.99 // Zara leather loafers £55.99 //
Quay x Desi Sahara £50
